As a travel enthusiast with a deep appreciation for the stunning landscapes and rich history of the Balkans, I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming accommodation in Berat that truly encapsulated the essence of a historical Ottoman mansion.Located just minutes away from the bus stop in the heart of Berat's historical center, this old house turned hostel not only exuded charm but also provided a delightful vegetarian breakfast sourced locally. The international atmosphere and diverse languages spoken made our stay truly memorable, especially for our kids experiencing a hostel for the first time. The family room was beautifully simple with lovely wall decor, and the shared facilities were always impeccably clean.The staff's warmth and willingness to assist, along with their wealth of knowledge about Berat and Albania, added immense value to our experience. The hostel's peaceful garden offered a tranquil space for relaxation and games with the children. And let's not forget the sumptuous breakfast and the enjoyable evening conversations with the staff that made our stay truly exceptional.In conclusion, if you are seeking a budget-friendly yet excellent stay in Berat, look no further than this gem just a short stroll from downtown - you won't be disappointed.
